South Johnston 2021 Varsity Girls Soccer

As we all know, the Class of 2021 has had a rough year. Coming into their senior year with COVID running rampant, they spent most of the year online. When they returned to school, it was anything but normal – masks in full force along with social distancing and cohorts in place. Eventually and as time went on, it became more normal. While things aren’t completely back to where they were, I’m so happy the Class of 2021 will get to end their senior year on a more normal note.

With these beautiful young ladies having gone through so much this year, I was excited to capture them in their uniform for their last year on the South Johnston High School girl’s soccer team.

I watched as these girls laughed together and joked around with each other. I could tell this was a moment in time these ladies would always cherish – their years playing a sport they loved, making memories with their team, going to prom, through hard times and tough practices, through all the high and lows. These girls will always have and cherish the memories they made during their time at South Johnston and during their years playing soccer.

Congratulations to these beautiful seniors – only a few more days until you turn your tassel!
